Corporate Social Responsibility
 

The Group is mindful of its corporate social responsibility and regularly participates in activities in community services. For a number of years, the Group, together with its major shareholders, the Wong’s Family, supported the philanthropical visits of Operation Smile China to a number of cities in China to operate on children with congenital hare lips and cleft palates respectively. The Group also encourages its employees to participate in charitable or community activities such as charity walks, visits to the aged and the rendering of domestic helping services.

 

 

14/12/2017 Wong’s joined CFSC Jockey Club New Estate Support Programme where Launched in On Tai Estate. 200 Tablet PCs were donated to the needy students who are under financial assistance schemes.
 

 

18/11/2017 Wong’s has sponsored CFSC Emergency Assistance Fund - Fund Raising Orienteering 2017 event to raise fund for providing immediate assistance to those suffered from misfortunes; promote environmental protection in community and engage our staff for team building.
 

 

29/10/2017 Wong’s International Holdings Limited made donations to sponsor the event of  “Yan Chai Charity Walk 2017”, invited colleagues and family members to join
 

 

4/10/2017 Wong’s International Holdings Limited launch “Mooncakes Transferring Campaign” cooperates with The Christian Family Service Centre (CFSC).  A total of 21 mooncakes were donated and sent to the underprivileged families living under the poverty line in Hong Kong.

WIHL donated HK$3,000,000 to City University (CityU) for the establishment of an exchange scholarship that gives outstanding students with financial needs the opportunity to obtain invaluable experience studying overseas. A Covered Terrace situated on the fourth floor of the Amenities Building of CityU is named “Wong’s International Terrace”.
